County Chamber’s Adult Leadership Program graduates 12

Twelve local business, civic and government leaders graduated from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce 2021 Adult Leadership Class on November 17, 2021. Since its inception in 1990, 419 people have graduated from the Adult Leadership program.

“The program provides the opportunity to learn about the life and work of Carroll County and to identify the issues, challenges and opportunities that face our communities in coming years,” said Natalie McCullough Porter, Chair of the Leadership Carroll County program. The sessions include information on Health Care, Government Operations, Education, County Demographics, Economic Development, Agriculture, Professional Development and much more.

The Chamber has been operating Leadership programs since 1990, and the program is comprised of 9 sessions. The first session for the 2021 class was held on August 26, 2021. More than 912 individuals have gone through both the Adult and Youth Leadership programs. The Leadership sessions are an excellent opportunity to network with class members and presenters and to learn about our county.

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the commercial, industrial, civic, and general interest of the county of Carroll, and it’s trade area. The Chamber is a 501 C6 in accordance to IRS regulations.
