Carroll County General Sessions

The following cases were bound over to the Grand Jury last week in Carroll County General Sessions Court:

•James H. Brown, Buena Vista Road, Huntingdon, bound over on charges of Evading Arrest Flight-Vehicle, 2 counts of Driving While License Revoked-2nd or subsequent offense, Obedience To Any Required Traffic Control Device, Vehicle Entering Through Highway or Stop Intersection, Schedule I Drugs; Mfg., Deliver, Sell, Possess, Meth; Mfg., Deliver, Sale, Poss with Intent, Casual Exchange-Adult/Minor-Schedule VI; dismissed charges of Failure To Appear-2 counts and Driving While License Revoked-2nd or subsequent offense.

•Michael L. DeLoach, Drexel Street, Nashville, bound over on charges of Reckless Endangerment-Vehicle/Felony, Evading Arrest Flight-Vehicle, Resist Stop, Arrest, Search (No Weapon), Driving While License Revoked, and Speeding.

•Bradley Jo Hollowell, Murray Lane, Huntingdon, bound over for Theft of Property-$2,500 – $10,000.

•Tiffany Miller, Wentworth Drive, Memphis, bound over on charges of Meth-Possession or Casual Exchange and Theft of Merchandise-Shoplifting.

•Wilfredo Dewayne Rivera, Kay Avenue, McKenzie, bound over on charge of Aggravated Assault.

The following cases resulted in guilty verdicts or guilty pleas:

•James Paul Henry Gibson, Euclid Avenue, McKenzie, found guilty of Driving While License Suspended, sentenced to 11/29 suspended to 20 days jail, already in custody, 11/9 unsupervised probation; dismissed charges of Expired Registration and 3 counts of Failure To Appear.

•Paul Saville, Highway 79N, Springville, found guilty of DUI: First Offense, $350 fine, 48 hours jail, report by 5/8/22, and 11/27 unsupervised probation; dismissed charges of Driving Privileges Revoked for 1 year, Violation of Seat Belt Law-18 and older and Violation of Financial Responsibility Law.

•Marquel Deshun Taylor, Farris Carter Road, Atwood, found guilty of Reckless Driving and Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, $250 fine, 2 days jail report by 4/8/22, and 11/27 supervised probation; dismissed charges of Driving Without License and Seat Belt Violation – 18 and Older.

•Christopher Lee Christman, Magnolia Avenue, McKenzie, found guilty of Assault-Bodily Injury, 11/29 sentence suspended to 10 days to serve every other weekend, and 11/19 unsupervised probation.

•Jonathan Cody Farrell, Barksdale Avenue, McKenzie, found guilty of Probation Violation, 30 days jail/continuous confinement and probation extended for period of non-confinement; dismissed charges of 2 counts of Failure To Appear and Driving While License Suspended-2nd or subsequent offense.

•Christopher Dale Frederick, West McDonald Avenue, McKenzie, found guilty of Meth-Possession or Casual Exchange, Casual Exchange-Adult/Minor-Schedule VI-ATT, and Probation Violation, $750 fine, 60 days jail report to jail by 6/6/22 and supervised probation for 9/29; dismissed charge of Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.

•Dion A. Teague, Elm Street, McKenzie, found guilty of Assault-Bodily Injury, 15 days jail, no contact with victim, and 11 months 14 days unsupervised probation.

•Timothy Wayne Vestal, Hames Street, Trezevant, found guilty of Failure To Appear, 10 days jail on consecutive weekends.

The following case resulted in a pre-trial or judicial diversion:

•Tabitha R. Christman, Walnut Circle, McKenzie, pre-trial diversion for Assault-Bodily Injury, 6 months unsupervised probation and no contact with victim; dismissed charge of Domestic Assault.

•Joseph Johnson, Hillcourt Circle, Huntingdon, dismissed charge of Failure To Appear.

•Alvin Dark McClerkin, Bridgeman Street, Huntingdon, dismissed charge of Aggravated Assault-Use or Display Deadly Weapon.
