Carroll County celebrates 2022 National Beta Club Week

BETA CLUB WEEK – County Mayor Joseph Butler has proclaimed National Beta Club week as March 7 – 11. He met with representatives of all the schools’ Beta Clubs in Carroll  County Monday morning.

 County Mayor Joseph Butler, through proclamation, has declared that Carroll County will recognize and celebrate the week of March 7-11, 2022, as National Beta Club Week in Carroll County.

On the morning of March 7th, Mayor Butler gathered with Beta Club student leadership and faculty sponsors from Clarksburg Beta Club, Hollow-Rock Bruceton Beta Club, Huntingdon Beta Club, McKenzie Beta Club, and West Carroll Beta Club to recognize them for their commitment and efforts through each respective special school district’s Beta Club.

He made note that it was important to him to gather each club together to celebrate them, but also to promote unity across the special school districts and the County.

“Our community is better because each of you and your clubs are striving for excellence in academics, service, character, and leadership, and our impact is even greater when we are serving together,” he said.

Mayor Butler presented a proclamation to each of the 5 clubs, proclaiming the week National Beta Club Week in Carroll County, and calling upon the citizens of Carroll County to support and celebrate Beta Club student members, alumni, and local sponsors.
