Carroll County Humane Society will host The Great Catsby Gala on Saturday, December 3, from 5:00 P.M – 9:00 P.M. at the Liberty Church Event Venue at 21822 Highway 22 in McKenzie. Tickets are on sale now the event will feature dinner, silent auction and more.

Hoop Shoot

Huntingdon Elks will have their annual “Hoop Shoot” on SUNDAY December 4th at 3 pm. Contest will be held at the Huntingdon Middle School gym.  Contest is open to all boys and girls aged 8 through 13. Free Christmas Giveaway

Free Christmas Giveaway will be held on December 10, from 7:00 A.M. – 12:00P.M. at Greenfield First Baptist Church located at 3127 N. Meridian Street in Greenfield. Available items will be gently used adult/kid clothes, toys and household items in addition to nonperishable food items. If you would like to donate, please drop the items at the church on Saturday, December 3 between 7 A.M. -12:00P.M.

National Wreaths Across America

The public is invited for a wreath laying ceremony to remember and honor the veterans laid to rest at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parker’s Crossroads at 12:00P.M. The cemetery is located at 593 Wildersville Road in Wildersville for further information contact Daisy Short at 731-847-9270.

Flag Sales

Prayer on the Square

Veterans Honor Guard

Veterans Honor Guard of Parkers Crossroads is seeking new members. Meetings and training: Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. at 2150 Wildersville Rd. in Wildersville. Carroll County Adult Education Classes Set
