William Clint Douglas 1940 – 2020

Mr. William Clint Douglas, 79, of
Bruceton, passed away Monday, April
13, at the home of his son in Hollow
Rock.
Private graveside funeral services were
conducted on Thursday, April 16, at 11
a.m. at New Prospect Cemetery. Bro.
Roger Cooper officiated the service.
Pallbearers who served were Ronnie
Raffield, Waddell Park, Roger Turner,
Ben Deeter and Joe Webb. Honorary
pallbearer was Justin Deeter.
Mr. Douglas was born Nov. 11, 1940 in
Huntingdon, to the late Delbert James
and Lula Jane (Woody) Douglas. He
was a supervisor for Midland-Ross, an
Air Force veteran and a member of Mt.
Nebo Baptist Church, where he played
the piano and served as a deacon for
many years.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years,
Diane Douglas of Bruceton, one
daughter, Susie (Ben) Deeter of
Huntingdon, two sons, Steve (Tammy)
Douglas of Hollow Rock and Shannon
Douglas of Bruceton, and one sister,
JoAnn Fowler of Camden. He also
leaves one granddaughter, Jade (Justin)
Newton of Paris, one grandson, Justin
Deeter of Huntingdon, and three
nephews, Mark Fowler, Scott Fowler,
both of Camden and Barry Fowler of
Kentucky.
