Mrs. Betty Ann Beaton, 84, of Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, at her daughter’s home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 6, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Union Academy Cemetery. Bro. Michael Hilliard will officiate the service.
Pallbearers who will serve are Justin Fowler, Steve Miller, Jason Pruett, John Sanders, Adam Rogers, and Brian Matthews.
The family received friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Beaton was born July 1, 1935 in Huntingdon, to the late Arlie Paul Lundy and Bennie Lou Bush Lundy. She was a member of the Union Academy Missionary Baptist Church and employed at the Milan Army Ammunition Plant as a machine operator. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Maurice Pruett, Howard Beaton, and one brother, Paul Lundy.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Joe Sloan (Steve) of Mansfield, two sons, Charles Ray Pruett (Martha) of Wildersville, William Paul Beaton (Dealona) of Huntingdon, and one brother, Bobby Joe Lundy (Joella) of Big Buck. She also leaves three grandchildren, Christie Gooch, Jason Pruett (Jina), Savannah Beaton, three great-grandchildren, Dylan Pruett, Carter Gooch, Parker Gooch, and many nieces and nephews.
