Dustin Billings has been named TCAT McKenzie’s new HVAC Instructor as of March 23, 2021. Dustin was raised in Huntingdon and currently resides there with his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Billings was one of former HVAC instructor Terry Wilson’s first students and a member of his advisory board. He is NATE certified and brings over 17 years of HVAC experience into the classroom. He graduated TCAT McKenzie in 2006 and was top of his class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI couldn\u2019t have asked for a better instructor.,\u201d said Billings. \u201cTerry had no teaching experience at the time, but he prepared me for the field. He was a very cool teacher, but he was also my friend. I only hope I can make him proud.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Billings heard the news about Terry\u2019s passing he was concerned for the future of his students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI felt like God was telling me to apply,\u201d said Billings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When asked why he applied for the instructor\u2019s position, he said he felt like Terry would get a kick out of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Billings is excited to teach his vast knowledge of the HVAC field to the current and future students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe HVAC field is in need of technicians and I hope to change that need by giving an opportunity and skill set to those who wish to have a career in the field of HVAC\/R,\u201d Billings said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
