Wanda Kay Wells, 76 of Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 5, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Shiloh Cemetery with Alex Gallion officiating
Mrs. Wells was born April 6, 1944 in Cedar Grove, to the late Marvin Courtney Jones and Maurine (House) Jones. She was a home maker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gathiel Wells; three brothers, Marvin Jones, Jr., Tommy Jones, Jerry Jones; two sisters, Shirley Wheeler, and Shelby Dunn.
She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Erickson of Jackson; two sons, Douglas Wells of Nashville, Steven (Hope) Wells of Traverse City, Michigan; two sisters, Barbara Covelli of Lombard, Illinois, and Beverly Morini of Cicero, Illinois.
She also leaves ten grandchildren; Douglas Wells, Jr., Keith Wells, Ashley Wells, Keri (Joshua) Drinkard, Jenna Leidig, Chance Erickson, Steven Wells, Jr., Haley Rich, Justice Wells, Jonathan Wells; three great-grandchildren, Whitley Drinkard, Daenerys Drinkard, and Ryan Wells.
