Ronnie Carter, 76, of Huntingdon, passed away Sunday August 23, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Thursday, August 27, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home of Huntingdon with Clint Ezell and Phillip Halter officiated. Burial followed at Bethel Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Carter was born on June 7, 1944, in Huntingdon, to the late Gerald Carter and Frances Rich Carter. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired mill operator for Norandal, and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Sabo, his son-in-law, John Pace, and two brothers, Buddy and Dwight Carter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is survived by his loving wife, Faye Carter; two daughters, Wendy Pace, of Clarksburg, and Penny (Jim) Rogers, of Huntingdon; one step-daughter, Jackie (James) Streetman, of Huntingdon; two step-sons, Harlan (Gloria) Williams and Willie Williams, both of Huntingdon; one son-in-law, Doug Sabo, of Adena, Ohio; one sister, Janice Chandler, of Huntingdon; one sister-in-law, Diane Carter, of Montana; five grandchildren: Shelby Bowman, Stella Jane Pace, Kaylee, Sam and Maggie Sabo ; five step-grandchildren, Cody, Zack and Hunter Williams, Josh Bennett, Megan Dean, and Little Robert; and four step-great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
