1919 – 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Claudine Morgan, 100, of\nMcKenzie, passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, at the Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funeral services were conducted\non Saturday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Bro. Jason Jackson officiated the\nservice.  Interment followed in Union\nAcademy Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pallbearers who served were Tim\nHilliard, Taylor Hilliard, Grant Hilliard, Charles Seaton, Frankie Welch, and\nJohn Merritt.  Honorary pallbearer was Eddie\nGranger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Morgan was born April 17,\n1919 in McKenzie, to the late Porter Coleman and Felma Barker Coleman.  She worked for Basler Electric as a factory\nworker and was a member of Union Academy Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband;\nWill Morgan, two sisters; Grace Fuller, Louise Merritt, nephew; Phillip\nMerritt, and great-nephew; Mitchell Merritt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is survived by two nieces;\nJoyce Cannon (Carl Ray) of Huntingdon, Rita Weissman (Bruce) of Florida.  She also leaves five great nieces and\nnephews; Teri Hilliard (Tim), Tameka Granger (Eddie), John Merritt (Brenda),\nAlex Weissman, Jacob Weissman and many great-great nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
