Wilma Cruse, 81, of Mixie passed away Sunday August 21 at her home. Funeral services were held on Tuesday August 23 at Henry Baptist Church. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with John Sutton officiating.
Mrs. Cruse was born September 2, 1940 to the late Bennie Rochester Ownby and Lena Maxine Townes Ownby also preceded in death by two brothers; Tommy Ownby and Bennie Ray Ownby, and five sisters; June Cooper, Billie Jean Petty, Louise Hastings, Beverly Garner and Maxine Ownby.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years; Clifton Cruse of Mixie, two daughters; Wendy (Shea) Bromley of Lexington and Marcia (Mike) Miller of Huntingdon, one sister; Iris Edwards of Huntingdon and five grandchildren; Morgan Bromley, Candace Bromley, Bethany Miller, Ashlyn Miller and Carly Miller.
