William L. Mann

William Leroy Mann, 84, of Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Jackson-Madison General Hospital. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 12, at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Burial followed at Palmer Shelter Cemetery with Bud Ricketts officiating.
Mr. William Mann was born Jan. 21, 1936 in Carroll County to the late Otha Mann and Oma Weaver Mann. He retired from Henry I Siegel and was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Huntingdon, where he was a song leader for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Gates Mann, who passed August 17, 2000; two sisters, Guyneth Mann and Ruth Simmons; and one brother, Carl Mann.
He is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Terry) Sellers of Huntingdon; one son, Dale (Paula Thompson) Mann of Camden formerly of Huntingdon; two sisters, Gladys Mann of Huntingdon and Ann (Wes) Hopper of Hollow Rock; three grandchildren, Ryan (Sallie) Mann, E.J. (Nikki) Mann, and Rachel Sellers; and five great-grandchildren.
