A teenage boy died earlier this week in the West Carroll area.
According to West Carroll Director of Schools Dexter Williams, the teen, who passed away Wednesday morning, was an upcoming freshman at West Carroll High School and a member of the War Eagles football team.
The following message was posted on the War Eagles Facebook page:
“Just received some devastating news about a member of our War Eagle family. No information will be disclosed out of respect for the family but please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”
