War hero Col. James C. Harding, USAF, who is the 25th Most Decorated U.S. Military Personnel in American History, will be recognized and honored by Carroll County in a celebration on Sunday, June 27 at the Carroll County Civic Center from 2 – 3:30 p.m. The program starts at 2:30 p.m.
He has distinguished himself with medals that include: Air Force Cross, three Silver Stars, two Legions of Merit, nine Distinguished Flying Crosses, two Bronze Stars with V for Valor and four Purple Hearts.
June 27 also marks Col. Harding’s 87th birthday.
