Virginia Knott crowned homecoming queen at WCHS

The 2020 West Carroll High School Football Homecoming Court was named during pregame ceremonies Thursday night in Atwood.

Crowned as this year’s homecoming queen was senior Virginia Knott, daughter of Rebecca Chandler.

Virginia is a three-year cheerleader and has served as a football manager all four years of her high school career.

She was escorted by Nickolas Blankenship, son of Brad and Beth Blankenship.

Other members of the homecoming court included:

•Senior Rep. Annalee McPherson, daughter of Pennie Keul, and her escort, Kaleb Brittain, son of Jeff and Gina Brittain.

•Junior Rep. Macy Springer, daughter of John and Michelle Springer, and her escort, Jack Barrow, son of Reece and Susan Barrow.

•Sophomore Rep. Sydney Bosley, daughter of Rodney and Michelle Bosley, and her escort, Jesse Mounts, son of Lorrie Crowe.

•Freshman Rep. Olivia Arnold, daughter of Mark and Sally Arnold, and her escort, Dakota Saunders, son of Bethany Fowler and the late Joseph Fowler.
