Trezevant’s Christmas parade entertains the community

Trezevant’s  Christmas parade rolled down U.S. Highway 79 from West Carroll Elementary School to Trezevant Church of Christ Dec. 13 as children’s squeals of delight were heard. 

 Santa waved to everyone as he passed by.

West Carrol Junior -Senior High School Band served as Grand Marshal. The band captured first place in the state competition contest i their class this past year.

Capturing first place in the float category was Pat’s Restaurant in Trezevant. It was a replica of several downtown stores. The second place float winner was Trezevant Medical Clinic which featured Mr. and Mrs. Claus. In the third place position was Huntingdon’s ICETEA Express that carried Mayor Bobby Blaylock and first lady Nancy Blaylock.

Chloe Mitchell, 2022 Miss Nashville Teen Volunteer rode on the best decorated vehicle which was a motorcycle. Trezevant’s fire truck won the the best decorated fire truck.

 At the conclusion of the parade fireworks were set off that provided a magical touch to the season.
