Trezevant ups fees for mowing

Trezevant residents who rely on town employees for mowing services will be paying a bit more for those services in the future.

During the Feb. 8 meeting, the Trezevant Mayor and Board of Aldermen voted to raise fees for mowing services from $60 to $70 per hour.

The main reason given for the increase was the rising cost of gasoline.

Mowing services are conducted by employees with the Street Department.
