The Carroll County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) will be hosting their annual tree give-a-way for Carroll County landowners on Friday, March 3rd, in honor of Arbor Day. The species of trees to be given away this year include White Pine, Bald Cypress, Dogwood Flowering, Native Sweet Pecan, Persimmon and Hickory Shagbark. Trees will be given away beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the USDA Service Center, located at 630 High Street in Huntingdon.
