Recently, former Vice President Mike Pence made statements that I certainly appreciate, applaud him for and agree with.
He stepped out of his comfort zone where I think he chose to remain during the last presidency to avoid ruffling feathers, stirring up controversy and the threat of possibly being replaced.
This is what Pence said concerning Trump attacking his handling of the 2020 election.
“I had no right to overturn the election. The presidency belongs to the American people and the American people alone, and frankly there is no idea more unAmerican than the notion that any one person could choose the outcome of the American president. Under the constitution I had no right to choose the outcome of the election.
President Trump is wrong.”
Thank you for standing up for democracy.
That little democracy train that says: “I think I can, I know I can” has begun to move along on its journey on the right track.
Enough said!
