Senior Sydney Anderson, daughter of Chip and Karen Anderson, was crowned as Huntingdon High School’s basketball homecoming queen in ceremonies during the halftime of the boy’s game on Jan. 13.
Doing the crowning was AB Club President Josie Sanders and assisting was AB Club Co-Vice President Sydney Vinson who presented her with flowers. Her escort was Ethan Lewis, son of Jason and Heather Lewis.


The cheerleaders presented each member of the court with flowers.
Sydney is a member of the Math, Science, FFA, FCS and Beta Clubs. In addition, she plays basketball and is on the Cross Country team.
Her choice of school after graduation is Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine.
The freshmen representatives were Meredith Perritt and Kelcey Stephenson. Meredith is the daughter of Mark and Misty Perritt and she was escorted by Blaine Todd, son of Corey and Candace Todd. Kelcey’s parents are Chad and Bridgett Barnhart and her escort was Jameson Drinkard, son of Johnny and Cristina Drinkard and Sarah Drinkard.
Delaney Byars, daughter of Chad and Kim Byars, and Claire Cary, daughter of Mike and Susan Cary, were the sophomore representatives. Delaney was escorted by Braylon Rich, son of Tim and Lori Laprade and Claire’s escort was Easton Byars, son of Chad and Kim Byars.
Junior representatives were Lilly Kee, daughter of Stacey Kee and Carl and Kim Johnson and Madison Mann, daughter of Ryan Mann and Jacqualyn Ramsey. Lilly’s escort was Grant Livingston, son of Brad and Kim Livingston and Madison’s escort was Jax Bennett, son of Seth and Jill Bennett.
Lia Fuller, daughter of Jody and Amy Fuller, was also a senior representative. Her escort was Seth Ricketts, son of Bud and Tanya Ricketts.
