ESTATE OF: GORDON S. ASHBY, LATE OF CARROLL COUNTY, TENNESSEE.
Notice is hereby given that on the 10THday of JUNE, 2024, Letters Testamentary, of Administration, in respect to the Estate of GORDON S. ASHBY deceased, who died APRIL 28TH, 2024, were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court Clerk and Master of Carroll County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the Estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above-named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:
(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or
(B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors, if the creditor received a copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting) as described in (1) (A); or
(2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death.
All persons indebted to the above Estate must come forward and make proper settlement with the undersigned at once.

It appearing to the Court from the sworn Motion, testimony, and affidavits filed in this cause that the whereabouts of the Defendant, Brandon Alan Maust, are presently unknown and cannot be ascertained upon diligent inquiry, so that ordinary process cannot be served upon him. Therefore, this Order of Publication should be published in the Carroll County News-Leader in Huntingdon, Tennessee, as the best possible notice to the Defendant under the circumstances.
Defendant, Brandon Alan Maust, is hereby required to appear and file and answer with Kenneth Todd, the Clerk and Master of the Carroll County Chancery Court, Courthouse 99 Court Square, Suite 105, Huntingdon, Tennessee, or otherwise defend against the Complaint for Divorce and serve an answer to said Complaint by the 1st day of July, 2024, which is no less than(30) days from the last day of publication of this notice, and send a copy of said answer to Marcus D. Noles, Attorney for Plaintiff in this cause, whose address is 116 E. Main Street, Camden, Tennessee 38320, or default judgment will be entered against the Defendant, and this cause set for hearing in the Chancery Court of Carroll County, Tennessee.

Ordinance No. 629, an ordinance to amend Title 18, Water & Sewers of the Huntingdon Municipal Code as set forth in Ordinance No. 620, Chapter 1, Water, Amending Section 18-113, Schedule of Rates; Title 18, Chapter 2, Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems; Amending Section 18-209, Recovery of Cost (2) Sewer service charges; and Automatic adjust of rate to reflect cost of living.
Copies of these documents are on file in the Office of the Town Recorder in the Huntingdon Municipal Building where they are available for public inspection during office hours. Copies can be obtained for a nominal sum.
