Shands named 2022 Homecoming Queen

 Huntingdon senior Sadie Shands was named the 2022 Homecoming football Queen during halftime of the contest between the Huntingdon Mustangs and Houston County. Shands has been a member of the AB Club for four years, Beta Club for four years, HOSA for four years, and a member of the distinguished scholars. Shands has also been a cheerleader for the last four years. She is the daughter of Roger and Tina Shands. She was escorted by Ty Kelley, son of Cliff and Holly Kelley.

 The other senior in the royalty was Sydney Vinson, daughter of Michael and Telena Vinson and was escorted by Keller Smith, son of Scott and Shawna Smith.

Representing the junior class was Annabelle Singleton, daughter of Marty and Sheri Singleton. She was escorted by Grant Livingston, son of Brad and Kim Livingston. Also representing the junior class was Laurenca Williams, daughter of Felecia Williams. She was escorted by Tycen Willis, son of Tyronza Bean.

 Representing the sophomore class was Delaney Byars, daughter of Chad and Kim Byars. She was escorted by Jace Crossett, grandson of Jimmy and Paula Crossett. Also representing the sophomore class was Claire Cary, daughter of Mike and Susan Cary. She was escorted by Carter Coleman, son of Nick and Ginger Coleman.

 Representing the freshman class was Mary Kendall Stevens, daughter of John and Elicia Stevens. She was escorted by Owen Kreuziger, son of Tisha Kreuziger. Also representing the freshman class was Kylie Tippitt, daughter of Brannon and Summer Tippitt. She was escorted by Blaine Todd, son of Corey and Candace Todd.
