Second Harvest providing meals for local children

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is currently providing free afterschool meals for eligible children in Carroll County through participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program.

The Carroll County Library on High Street in Huntingdon is serving as the local site for this program.

Families wanting to take advantage of this program should call the library at (731) 986-1919, providing the number of children in the family, the names and ages of each child, and what days they want to pick up their meals at the library.

Meal pickups will be conducted between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
