Sarah Earline Hammett

Sarah Earline Hammett, 94, of Huntingdon, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be Friday, Nov. 27, at 3:00 PM, at New Hope Cemetery in Yuma with Lynn Stapleton officiating the service.
Mrs. Hammett was born February 18, 1926, in Clarksburg, to the late George F. and Pearl Mae (Baker) Patterson. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmack Hammett, and one son, Richard Hammett.
She is survived by one son, Earl (Judy) Hammett of Huntingdon; one sister, Willodean Davis, of Huntingdon; one  granddaughter, Melissa Lowe; three great grandchildren, Ryan (Shelby) McQuesten, Tori McQuesten, and Jace Lowe, and a great-great-grandchild, Tatum McQuesten.
The memory of the righteous is a blessing.
