Sam Bailey

Mr. Sam Bailey, 81, of Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday,
November 13, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, in the
Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home.
Interment followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Brother Dan Winkler and
Brother Tim Parish officiated.

Mr. Bailey was born April 19, 1938 to the late Fred Bailey and Eva
Estelle Spoon Bailey. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor at DuPont;
member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ; National Guard for 25 plus
years; preceded in death by his son Jerry Bailey and sister Betty Cole.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Sue Bailey of Huntingdon; daughter Melissa (Matt) Swinea of McKenzie; sister
Shirley Ragsdale of Raleigh, N.C.; and three grandchildren Evan
Bailey, Alex Bailey and Ashlyn Swinea.
