Rufus L. Chandler, 74, of McKenzie, passed away Tuesday, May 25, at Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 28, at Dilday-Carter
Funeral Home. Burial followed at Humbles Chapel Cemetery with Lynn Stapleton officiating.
Brother Chandler was born on February 21, 1947 in Huntingdon, to the late George Weldon Chandler and Martha Maydean Richardson Chandler. He was a Missionary Baptist Minister for over 45 years serving several churches, and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sue Chandler, and his daughter, Paula Renee Chandler.
He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Chandler of Readyville; a son, Terry (Lisa) Chandler of Murfreesboro; and two grandchildren, Nicole (Dustin) Arnold and Kyle Chandler.
