Robert “Bob” Porter

Robert “Bob” Porter, 94, of Dallas, Texas passed away Friday, May 14, at his home. Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, May 22, in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery.
Mr. Porter was born July 14, 1926 in Memphis, to the late Robert Bates Porter and Mary (Haliburton) Porter. He was a retired Sales Representative for US Steel and a member of the Church of Christ.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Lee Taylor Porter.
He is survived by a daughter, Melanie White; three sons, Brian Porter, Scott Porter and Brett Porter all of Dallas, Texas. He also leaves twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a great number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
