Master Sergeant Richard Dane Fry, 77, of San Antonia, Tx., formerly of Cedar Grove, passed away Monday, Feb. 8. A military service was held at Fort Sam Houston, Tx., with burial following.
Mr. Richard was born in Cedar Grove on Sept. 16, 1943 to the late Arvil and Gertrude (Rosel) Fry.
He graduated from Trezevant High School in 1961. He attended college one year before joining the Air Force. He served in Europe and the United States before retiring from the San Antonia Air Force Base.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Fry, of San Antonio, Tx.; one daughter, Daniella (John) Ross, of Wildomar, Ca.; one stepdaughter, Mary (Sergero) Ramon, of San Antonia, Texas; one stepson, Cisco Johnstone, of Fl.; stepmother, Marie Fry of Cedar Grove; two sisters, Mary Fry, of Cedar Grove, and Rosalind (Harold) Powers, of Medina; four grandsons, and three step grandsons.
