What’s better than a meatloaf flavored with seasonings that makes it a perfect addition to a meal. It’s good for a quick sandwich as well. It’s not real time consuming to make either. It will bring back memories of the meatloaf your mother made as you savor each bite.

2 celery ribs chopped

2 lbs. ground beef

Half of large onion, chopped

2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, divided

½ cup Italian breadcrumbs

1/2 cup ketchup

2 teaspoons Creole seasoning

l teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Greek powder

2 large eggs, lightly beaten

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

3 tablespoons tomato paste

1 tablespoon ketchup

Place butter in nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add celery and onion and cook until tender, about 6 or 7 minutes.

Mix celery, onion, ground beef, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, and next 5 ingredients in bowl. Shape into a loaf; place on a greased broiler rack and put in an aluminum foil-lined broiler pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

For the topping mix the left over 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce and paste and 1 tablespoon of ketchup. Pour over the meatloaf and bake 15 more minutes or until the inside is no longer pink. Let cool and serve.
