R. C. Wilson

1935 – 2019

Mr.  R. C. Wilson, 84, of Huntingdon, passed away Monday, November 18, at his home.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 23, at 11 a.m. at Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. Masonic Rites Service was held Friday at 8 p.m. Bro. Lynn Stapleton officiated the service.  Interment followed in Bethlehem Cemetery. 

Pallbearers who served were Chet Rogers, Trey Quirk, Hal Bibee, Clint Wilson, Nicholas Horn, and Gary Hatch.

Mr. Wilson was born on September 7, 1935 in Huntingdon, to the late Charlie O. Wilson and Cola Mae (Dickerson) Wilson.  He was self-employed as an automotive dealer, a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church and Huntingdon Masonic Lodge #106.  He was also preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Patricia Ann Wilson.

He is survived by one daughter, Angie Hope Horn; one son, Charles Rickey Wilson (Sandra) all of Huntingdon, two sisters, Freeda Sanford Mauro (Tony) of Nashville, and Carolyn Wilks of Huntingdon. He also leaves three grandchildren, Clint Wilson (wife Angela), Katy Bibee (husband Hal) and Nicholas Horn (wife, Emelyn); five great grandchildren, Ransom, Weston, Ella Blaire, Haynes and Chandler.
