Paul Glyn Haywood, 74, of Clarksburg, passed away Wednesday, August 12, at his residence. Funeral services were held Monday, August 17, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Chase Funeral Home of Huntingdon with John D. Small officiating. Burial followed at the Clarksburg Cemetery.
Mr. Haywood was born April 17, 1946, in Clarksburg, to the late Thomas L. Haywood and Ima J. Carnal Haywood. He was a retired truck driver for the Reed Trucking Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Haywood, a grandson, Cody Haywood, a sister, Sarah Ballard, and five brothers, Clayton, Alton, Bobby, Joe, and Tom Haywood.
He is survived by two sons, Marty (Sandy) Haywood, of Milan, and Josh Haywood, of Alaska, God daughter, Jennifer Breeden (Tommy) of Yuma; a sister, Mary Morgan, of Clarksburg; a brother, Pete Haywood, of Alamo, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Hunter and Dalton Haywood, Gracie “Mo” Breeden, and Derek Blankenship. Pallbearers who served were Ricky Moore, Tyler and John Murphy, Tommy and Ronnie Breeden and Jerry Haywood. Honorary pallbearer was Herb Murphy.
