Pamela J. Cary

Pamela Joyce Cary, 65, of Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 28, at Vanderbilt Palliative Care Unit in Nashville. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 30, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Chase Funeral Home of Huntingdon with Alex Hilliard officiating.  Burial followed at Humbles Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Cary was born August 15, 1955, in Lobelville, to the late Paul H. Sanders and Ivy N. Kirk. Sanders.  She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, worked at the Milan Arsensal, Tractor Supply, and the Buena Vista Post Office.  If you knew Pam, you knew how much she loved Cooper.  Her favorite hobbies were spending time walking with Cooper in the woods to the levee and repotting her beautiful outside flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha N. Martinez.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donnie E. Cary; and her special four-legged baby, whom she loved dearly, Cooper.  She leaves several nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers who served were Bobby, Brad and Donnie Smith, Michael L. Kyle, Bobby Kirk, and Steve Warbritton.
