Oneal “Buck” Mitchell

Oneal “Buck” Mitchell, 84 of Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13 at his home. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 16 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Latham McLain, and Billie Allen officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Benton County.
Mr. Mitchell was born September 9, 1936 in Camden, to the late Marvin Mitchell and Flora Robin (Lowery) Mitchell. He was retired from Miles Lavatory Company where he was a Forklift Operator, a member of Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, and attended Faith in Christ Church.
He was also preceded in death by one son, David Neal Mitchell; one brother, Arville Mitchell; and two sisters, Nita Allen and Ruby Hintz.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Allen Mitchell; one daughter, Linda (Gary) Renker of Bridgeview, Ill.; two sons, Marvin Mitchell of Bridgeview, Ill., Johnny (Ann) Mitchell of Ind.; step-son, Paul Hollingsworth of Huntingdon; four sisters, Kathy (Steve) Cashion of New Johnsonville, Rita Williams of Buena Vista, Gladys Sanders of Camden, and Flo (Pete) Hargrove of Buena Vista.
He also leaves several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
