The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce sponsored a ribbon cutting and grand opening at The Cotton Seed Boutique on July 30. Savannah Austin (fifth from left on front row) and Maggie Thomason (sixth from left on the front row) are the owners of this new business, located at 21310 East Main St. The business is open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Assistants at the business are Emma Ross, Natalie Taylor and Katie Coleman. The boutique carries men’s, women’s and children’s clothing plus accessories.
