Never Quit Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot drew 140 participants

One hundred forty people met on Huntingdon’s Court Square Thanksgiving morning to participate in the Never Quit Turkey Trot that raises funds that go to the Never Quit Foundation in memory of Lori Pearson. Lori fought courageously against the cancer that finally took her life.

The Turkey Trot consists of a 5K and one mile walk/run.

“I am thankful that the Never Quit Foundation gets to be a part of this Thanksgiving tradition in memory of our dear friend, Lori Pearson,” said Kelly Eubanks, who assisted with the organization with the Turkey Trot. “Thank you to all that participated, to the sponsors, and to all that make this possible.”

Overall winners in the race were Brittney Tucker and Colton King.

It was not known at presstime how much money was raised, but one organizer said it was between $2,000 and $3,000.
