Mollie Bell Rumley, 78, of Bruceton, passed away Saturday, July 17, at the Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 20, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Larry DePriest and Donald Ricketts officiating. Burial followed in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Mrs. Rumley was born December 30, 1942, in Huntingdon to the late Amos Williams and Audrey (Chandler) Williams. She was a retired production worker for the H. I. S. Company and a member of the First Pentecostal Church.
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Rumley; one son, Jason DePriest; one daughter, Dana DePriest; two brothers, Patrick Williams, and Dewey Williams; and one sister, Pansy J. Pace.
She is survived by one daughter, Regina (Randy) Blankenship of Huntingdon; one son, Norris (Shan) DePriest of Trezevant; two step children, Eddie (Kim) Rumley of Huntingdon, and Penny (Jack) McGlasson of Mt. Juliet; four sisters, Peggy (Wadell) Park, Pattie (Larry) Allen, both of Bruceton, Polly (Billy) Melton, and Patsy Hill, both of Huntingdon; three brothers, Amos (Delores) Williams, Jr. of Canton, Ohio, Daniel (Joyce) Williams, and Dwight (Martha) Williams, both of Huntingdon. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Jonathan Blankenship, Zachary Blankenship, Caleb (Sheelah) Blankenship, Ansley Blankenship, Shane DePriest, Chancy DePriest, Autumn Powell, Tysen DePriest; seven step grandchildren, Bethany Scanlon, Christa Rumley, Benjamin Parker, Brooke DePriest, Tanner Coleman, Sara McGlasson, Austin McGlasson; ten great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
Pallbearers who served were Jonathan Blankenship, Zachary Blankenship, Caleb Blankenship, Shane DePriest, Chancy DePriest, Tysen DePriest and Thomas Williams.
