Mildred “Mickey” Dodd

1946 – 2020

Mrs. Mildred “Mickey” Dodd, 74, of Hollow Rock, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, at her home.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Jan. 27, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Bro. Johnathan Smith officiated the service. Interment followed in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.

Mrs. Dodd was born on Jan. 22, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to the late Charlie Lee Priest and Milda Juanita (Austin) Priest. She was preceded in death by a sister, Laverne Swindle, two brothers, Charles Jessie Priest and Marion Junior Priest, and a grandson, Charles “Charlie” Kee.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John “Bill” Dodd, three daughters, Lorrie Kee (Charles) of Vale, Billie Jo Jordan (Curtis) of Huntingdon, and Debbie Pryor (Durante) of Paris, one sister, Mary Lucille Morphis (Neil) of Spring Creek, a special Niece, Sherry Brawley Dunn, of Centerville, Special friends Pat Cary of Bruceton and Kay Grooms of Vale, Six grandchildren, Christie Hall, Jamie Kee, John Robert Jordan, Drew Jordan, Chuck Hall, Amber Jordan Hilliard, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
