Michael Prince Taylor

1949 – 2020

Mr. Michael Prince Taylor, 70, of Trezevant, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Memorial services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 15, at Mt. Carmel Church in Camden.

Mr. Taylor was born Oct. 30, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Russell Taylor and Maidell (Prince) Taylor.  He worked as maintenance team leader and tool buyer for Regal Boats in Florida and served in the Army during Vietnam War.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Taylor and one sister, Goldia Kay Taylor. 

He was survived by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie Taylor, four daughters, Leslie Fay of Elkhart, Ind., Sabrina Walton (Tim) of Huntingdon, Tamara Cardenas of Dania, Fla., Stephany Hayes (Gary) of Lexington, Ky., one sister, Darlene Quinn (Frankie) of Bruceton, two brothers, Phil Taylor (Linda) of Columbus, Ohio, and Wally Taylor of Indian Town, Fla.  He also leaves six grandchildren, DeShae Taylor, Cody Thorne, Joe Fay, DaCotah Fay, Antonia Cardenas, John Luke-Juan Cardenas, and one great-granddaughter, Khalila Taylor.
