Driving on Suspended License

   McKenzie Police Officer Trenton Ruddy conducted a traffic stop at a business on Hwy 79 after observing Christopher Edmonson, 28, of McKenzie driving a red Crown Victoria.  Ruddy had prior knowledge that Edmonson had a suspended license and double checked his drivers license through dispatch and confirmed the suspension.  Edmonson was cited for Driving on Suspended License – First Offense.

Multiple Charges

   A traffic stop on Cedar Street on Monday evening, September 19 resulted in an arrest on multiple charges.  Officer Trenton Ruddy initiated a traffic stop on a Nissan Frontier for having a headlight out.  The driver, Ricky Newbill, 50, of Trezevant, was found to have a suspended drivers license.  Newbill was cited for Driving on Suspended License – First Offense, Light Law Violation, and Failure to Show Proof of Financial Responsibility.

Multiple Charges

   Sgt. Kyle Beauchamp initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 79, Monday night, September 19, for having a taillight not working.  The driver, Toni Pearson, 50, of Huntingdon was found to be driving on a revoked license due to a third DUI Offense.  Pearson was taken into custody and charged with Driving on a Revoked License – 3rd Offense and cited for a Light Law Violation and not having proof of insurance.
