McKenzie man killed in two-vehicle wreck

A McKenzie man was killed in a June 23 two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 79 at 3:20 p.m.
Corey Douglas, 33, died while two other persons were injured.
According to a crash report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Douglas, driving a 1999 Acura, was northbound
while Amanda Crowe, 28, of Martin, driving a 2017 Toyota f-Runner was southbound. Crowe’s vehicle crossed the
center line and struck Douglas’ vehicle.
Crowe and 10-year-old Jovi Garner, a passenger in Douglas’ vehicle were injured. There were no passengers in
Crowe’s vehicle.
The Crowe vehicle overturned and Douglas’ vehicle came to rest on the roadway. Wreckage from both vehicles
was strewn all about.
The wreck was in the vicinity of Wingo Chapel Church.
