McKenzie Living History Event

LIVING HISTORY DAY – The Gordon Browning Museum in McKenzie hosted a World War I Living History tour Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. A proclamation honoring Col. Browning was passed by the McKenzie City Council Thursday night recognizing him for his service in World War I, as a U.S. Congressman and governor of Tennessee. Tours of the museum were offered. In McKenzie’s downtown city park, men dressed in World War I uniforms, displayed a number of weapons from that era.
