McKenzie Homecoming Reset for Next Friday

The McKenzie High School Rebels were originally scheduled to celebrate homecoming tonight (Friday, Sept. 25), but homecoming festivities have been reset for next Friday night, Oct. 2, with the pre-game ceremonies starting at 7 p.m.

McKenzie was supposed to host Stewart County tonight, but as Stewart County had to withdraw from the contest due to COVID-19 concerns and it wasn’t certain whether or not McKenzie would be able to secure a substituted opponent, the call was made to put off homecoming for a week.

As it turned out, McKenzie did find a substitution and will be hosting USJ tonight starting at 7 p.m.

Next Friday, the Rebels will be hosting Gibson County for homecoming.
