Mavis Darlene Coble Figard

1954-2020

Mrs. Mavis Darlene Coble Figard, 65, of Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 17, at 1 p.m. at Leach Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery.  Bro. Aaron Sirk will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 10 a.m. until noon.

Mrs. Figard was born Nov. 22, 1954 in Huntingdon, to the late Floyd Earl Coble and Verlie Marie Pryor Coble. She was employed by Henry I. Seigel as a seamstress and a member of the Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Michael Figard, who passed away in Nov. 2007, and one brother, James Earl Coble, who passed away Nov. 2016.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Marie White, one son, Jason Dwayne Hubbs, both of Huntingdon, her companion, Philip Brooks of McKenzie, two sisters, Ardelle Coble Marx of Fredericksburg, Va., Marie Coble Fry of Cedar Grove, and one brother William “Bill” Cecil Coble of Huntingdon.  She also leaves three grandchildren.
