Mary Frances Harris 1942-2020

On Thursday, April 2, God
visited the bedside of Sis.
Mary Frances
Harris at Huntingdon
Health and Rehabilitation.
He said well done my
good and faithful servant,
your work here is done,
come unto me and be
at rest. At 9:30 p.m., Mary
Frances went on to rest in
the loving arms
of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was 78 years old.
Funeral services were
conducted Monday, April
6, at noon in the
Chapel of Dilday-Carter
Funeral Home. Interment
followed at Carroll
Memorial Gardens.
Brother Thomas Parker
officiated.
Mary Frances was born in
Huntingdon, on Jan. 23,
1942 to the late
Willie D and Vernon
Glenn Barnhill.
She professed a hope in
Christ at an early age. She
was a faithful
member of the First Baptist
Church in Huntingdon,
until her health
began to fail her. Frances
was a factory worker for
many years until she
retired in 2007. She was a
loving mother,
grandmother, sister, aunt,
cousin and friend. She will
be greatly missed.
Frances was a loving

and devoted wife for 35
years. She was united in
holy matrimony on Nov.
6,1982 to James Arthur
Harris who proceeded
her in death on August 23,

  1. She is also
    proceeded in death by
    three sisters, Ella Jane
    Barbee, Louise Barnhill
    and Betty Jean Johnson.
    Frances leaves to
    mourn her passing two
    sons: Michael (Princetine)
    Barnhill of Huntingdon
    and Stephen Barnhill of
    Paris; one
    brother, Daniel Barnhill of
    Lexington; five
    grandchildren:
    Michaela Barnhill, Jarvis
    Barnhill, Whitney Barnhill,
    Jasmine Williams
    and Trevor (Brittany)
    Damesworth; eight great-
    grandchildren: Jesslyn
    Burns, Kansas Barnhill,
    Brooklyn Barnhill,
    Phoenix Barnhill, Trenton
    Lowe, Kylie Barnhill,
    Amelia Joe and Alister
    Damesworth; a host of
    nieces, nephew, cousins
    and friends. She also
    leaves a very special and
    devoted friend, Lisa
    Barnhill.
