Mary Etta (Umstead) Pinson, 82 of Atwood, passed away Thursday, January 20 at NHC Milan. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 24 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Scotty Davis officiating. Burial followed in Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood.
Mrs. Pinson was born September 20, 1939, in Huntingdon, to the late Bill and Lee Etta (Greener) Umstead. She worked for ITT and was a member of the House Baptist Church in Atwood. Beside her parents, she was also preceded in death her husband of 64 years; Billy Ray Pinson, one brother; Billy Joe Umstead and one sister; Peggy DePriest.
She is survived by three sons; Steve Pinson of McLemoresville, Randall Pinson (Cindy) of Atwood, Terry Pinson (Londa) of Huntingdon, one sister; Sharon Johnson of Huntingdon. She also leaves seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
