Lucille Smothers Kee

Lucille Smothers Kee, 101, of Huntingdon, passed away Monday, May 10, at Harmony Hills Assisted Living. Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 13, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Roy Dale Smith officiating the service. Burial followed in Palmer Shelter Cemetery.
Mrs. Kee was born on August 17, 1919, in Huntingdon, to the late Douglas McCauley Smith and Cora Bell Weaver Smith. She was a certified nursing assistant at the Wilson Clinic. She loved quilting, gardening, and sitting with the elderly.
She was also preceded in death by husbands, Luther Huse Smothers and Luke Kee; four sisters, Marie Williams, Dorothy Hall, Imogene Sanders, and Peggy Smith; and four brothers, Jim Smith, Harlos Smith, J.D. Smith, and Roy Smith. 
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Dennis) Rich of Huntingdon, Rita (Kenny) Harris of Three Way; a sister, Robbie Judd, of Gallatin; six grandchildren, Tina Rich, Stacy Stokes, Heather Hicks, Nancy Rich, Ben Harris, and Kelli Rich. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. 
Pallbearers who served were Ben Harris, Wyatt Stokes, Adrian Rich, Chris Bergman, Tony Lawrence, and Bill Sanders.
