Lorelei A. Brown

Lorelei “Lori” Ann Brown, 78, of Hollow Rock, passed away Monday, Sept. 28, at her daughter’s home in Jackson. Funeral services were held at Faith Baptist Church, Thursday, Oct. 1, at 1:00 p.m., with Steve Davis officiating. Burial followed at Hebron Cemetery. Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 10, 1941, in Pontiac, Mich., to the late Cecil S. Castle and Minnie E. McQuiston Castle. She was the retired owner/operator of Iron Kettle Restaurant and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hollow Rock. She spent her time helping everyone she could and loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas R. “Pete” Brown, two sons, Steven and Tommy Brown, and a brother, Clare Castle.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha “Marti” (Barry) Wegar, of Jackson, and Jennifer (Michael) Evans, of Milan; a son, Dallas R. (Michelle) Brown, of Shelby Township, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

Pallbearers who served were Eddie Dupree, B.J. Mashaw, Chad Brown, Tanner Norwood, Kurt Lumpley, and Collin Evans.
