Linda Faye Belew, 81, of Clarksburg, passed away Friday, May 28, at her home. Funeral services were held Monday, May 31, at Clarksburg Church of Christ. Burial followed at Sellers Hill Cemetery with Chase Sanders officiating. Dilday-Carter Funeral Home was in charge of these arrangements
Mrs. Belew was born on Feb. 6, 1940, in Davidson County to the late Dayton and Leola Jarrett. She was a loving Christian mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Clarksburg Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Belew, and her daughter, Kayla Belew.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Thomas “Spud”) Luther of Clarksburg; a brother, Desmond (Dorothy) Jarrett of Camden; three sisters-in-law, Martha (Russell) Webb of Lexington, Ann (JW) Noles of Huntingdon, and Deborah (Johnny) Newmon of Tyler, TX; three grandsons, Nicholas Luther, Dustin (Aubrey) Luther, and Scott (Monica) Luther; two great-granddaughters, Emmalyn and Millie Luther; a loving family member, Janice Lewis; and a host of loving cousins.
Pallbearers who served were Scott Luther, Dustin Luther, Max Cary, Randal Roak, Harry Carden, and Tony Hunley.
