Larry J. Wade

Larry Joe Wade, 81, of Puryear, passed away Wednesday, May 5, at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services were held in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Dale Gallimore officiating. A private burial was held in Walker Cemetery in Paris.
Mr. Larry was born November 29, 1939 in Cottage Grove, to the late Clovis Aden “Jack” Wade and Ruby Call Wade. He worked for over 20 years at Farm Credit. He went on to work for over 20 years for the Bank of Huntingdon, later First Bank, where he retired as Vice President. Larry was a member of Puryear United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and yard work. He was married December 11, 1966, to Jane Burchfiel Wade, who survives, of Puryear. 
Along with his wife, he is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Wade Smith of Murray, KY; his son, Jody (Amanda) Wade of Covington; one sister, Karen (David) Wilson of Paris; five grandchildren, Kelsey (Wayde) Younger, Emma Wade, Cody Crocker, Caleb Crocker, and Jillian Smith; and one great grandchild, Laken Wayde Younger.
Pallbearers who served were Cody Crocker, Caleb Crocker, Wayde Younger, John Penn Ridgeway, Matthew McClure, and Jason Wilson.
