Larry Gene Cary, 69, of Westport, passed away Wednesday, September 8 at Jackson Madison General Hospital. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 11 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Robert Simmons officiating.
Mr. Cary was born March 22, 1952, in Peoria, Ill. He was self-employed as laborer and was known as a jack of all trades. If you knew him you know he was a very loving and caring individual. In his spare time he loved spending time with his family and especially his two grandchildren, who was very dear to his heart.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years; Peggy Crawford, one daughter; Amanda M. McCracken (John) of Camden, his parents; Gene and Sue Cary of Yuma, two brothers; Kenny Harris (Donna) of Washington, Ill., and Ricky Cary of Yuma. He also leaves two grandchildren, John Micheal McCracken, Aryanna Tenille McCracken; two nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
